As a Phantom, Bellum can manipulate and control shadows along with being able to perform other dark powers. Because of this, he can materialize in shaded areas, summon things to him, possess any living being, phase through walls or other solid objects, and defy gravity by being able to fly or levitate with the slightest thought despite how heavy he is.

His skin is more durable than any material known to mankind. Literally nothing can cut/break his skin, and even though his skin is like a suit of armor, he is SWIFT. If one does not own the Phantom Sword and knows a way to temporarily disturb the flow of time, then hurting Bellum in any way at all is impossible. A god or goddess cannot touch him, but a twelve year old with a piece of fancy metal can.

He can absorb the life out of anything in existence that carries it, and if he does not consume it to make himself more powerful, he uses it to create new forms of life. (Or, his minions.) Anything he drains Life Force from either becomes unimaginably weak or turns to stone, rendering them immobilized but still somewhat conscious.
